As of 1 January 2025, the internship allowance is EUR 700 and a transport subsidy of EUR 30 per month. An additional housing subsidy of EUR 170 per month will be provided to eligible interns.  

 

Interns are required to be subscribed to a health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the internship. However, they are eligible to request enrolment in the Organization’s health insurance coverage at no additional cost.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

 

Through this internship, the intern will gain meaningful exposure to the work of a large international organization, while contributing to the development and improvement of digital workplace solutions based on SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

 

Primary duties

  • Support the enhancement and customization of SharePoint Online intranet and document management sites, to ensure they align with the organization's needs and objectives.
  • Support automation of workflows and business processes using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and AI tools to improve efficiency.
  • Explore, test, and provide support for the adoption of Microsoft Copilot and use of Copilot agents to improve productivity, collaboration, and process optimization, while staying updated on new features and releases.
  • Assist in creating comprehensive user documentation, including guides, to facilitate end-users' understanding and efficient utilization of ICT systems and applications.

Requirements

All candidates will be assessed on the under mentioned requirements:

  • Be a national of one of INTERPOL’s 196 member countries;
  • Have attained the legal age in the country of nationality.

 

Training / Education required

  • Be enrolled in a, or have graduated from, a post-secondary accredited academic institution within the past one year (preferably having completed coursework relating to technology, data protection, or public international law)

 

Technical skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is an asset;
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online concepts, architecture, and site customization is an asset;
  • Interest in learning and applying AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot agents.

 

Abilities required

  • Ability to work with discretion, diplomacy, tact, and rigor;
  • Willingness to learn new or unfamiliar areas of law;
  • Prior exposure to data protection law, information security, or regulation of emerging technologies will be considered as an asset;
  • Exposure to drafting or review of governance, technical, or risk management documentation, particularly in relation to emerging technologies will be considered as an asset.

 

Languages

  • Professional fluency in English;
  • Professional fluency in French is highly desirable;
  • A good command of any other INTERPOL official language (Arabic, Spanish) will be considered as an asset.

If selected, you will be required to produce a certificate of non-criminal records (including spent and unspent sentences pronounced by justice) from your country of nationality and from any other country in which you have resided for more than 12 months in the past five years. If you are considered at a further stage of the selection process (interview) we advise you to familiarize yourself with the procedure for requesting such documentation in the concerned countries so that, if accepted, your arrival to the Organization is not unnecessarily delayed.
