As of 1 January 2025, the internship allowance is EUR 700 and a transport subsidy of EUR 30 per month. An additional housing subsidy of EUR 170 per month will be provided to eligible interns.
Interns are required to be subscribed to a health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the internship. However, they are eligible to request enrolment in the Organization’s health insurance coverage at no additional cost.

Develop research skills in gathering and analysing open source intelligence;
Learn the different aspects of training logistics and administration and put it into practice;

Exposure to International diplomacy, the works of two major International Organizations and law enforcement applied to a large range of crime areas.
REQUIREMENTS
- Be a national of one of INTERPOL’s 196 member countries.
- Have attained the legal age in the country of nationality.
- Adaptable to an international, multicultural and multilingual environment; good communication skills; and ability to work in a team.

Training / Education required
- Current student or recent graduate (within one year from the date of application).
- Academic background in international relations, public administration, communications, political science, or a related field.
Experience required
No work experience required. Internship experience in an office setting or an international organization will be considered an asset.
Languages
- Professional fluency in English, written and oral, is required.
- Fluency in another INTERPOL official language (French, Spanish and Arabic) would be an asset.
Technical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with event planning, document formatting, and digital organization tools is an asset.
- Knowledge of database and file management practices is an advantage.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to administrative tasks.
- High level of discretion, reliability, and professionalism.
- Strong interest in international cooperation, security, or multilateral institutions.

2. ASSESSMENT METHOD

If you are considered at a further stage of the selection process (interview) we advise you to familiarize yourself with the procedure for requesting such documentation in the concerned countries so that, if accepted, your arrival to the Organization is not unnecessarily delayed.
PRIMARY DUTIES
The intern will be based in the Strategic Partnerships Directorate (SPD) and will provide support across coordination, communication, and operational activities. Working under the supervision of an assigned SPD Coordinator, the intern will contribute to the daily functions of the Directorate and assist in the implementation of strategic initiative.
1. Administrative and Logistical Support
-Assist in drafting, formatting, and proofreading correspondence, reports, presentations, and meeting notes.
-Support the organization of SPD-hosted workshops, forums, and inter-agency meetings.
2. Conference and Event Support
-Contribute to the logistical planning and execution of conferences, workshops, and partnership-related events organized by the Directorate.
-Assist with administrative arrangements such as, participant registration, prepare participant lists, manage RSVPs, and assemble conference materials.
3. Data and Document Management
-Help monitor and update databases, spreadsheets, and partners’ records.
-Track project timelines, deliverables, and meeting deadlines; assist in follow-ups where needed.
-Support the collection and synthesis of data for the preparation of reports, presentations, and briefings.
-Assist in the analysis and visual representation of the collected data
4. Research and Policy Support
-Conduct research on policy, strategic, and partnership-related issues to support Directorate initiatives, ie Conducting research on policy/strategic issues;
-Assist in preparing research summaries, reports, and briefing notes for internal and external use.
5. Meeting Support and Minute-Taking
-Attend meetings, workshops sessions etc to take accurate minutes and summarize key discussions and action points.
6. General Office and Operational Support
-Assist in maintaining the smooth daily functioning of the office, including checking supplies, supporting coordination needs, and ensuring workspace readiness.
-Perform other duties as required in support of the Directorate’s objectives and the intern’s learning goals.
