As of 1 January 2025, the internship allowance is EUR 700 and a transport subsidy of EUR 30 per month. An additional housing subsidy of EUR 170 per month will be provided to eligible interns.
Interns are required to be subscribed to a health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the internship. However, they are eligible to request enrolment in the Organization’s health insurance coverage at no additional cost.

Primary duties
The purpose of this internship will be to assist the Support Office of the Executive Director for Resource Management (EDRM) in its daily activities, more specifically in the areas of policy support, executive administrative support and participating in the review of INTERPOL’s archives.
The intern will work under the supervision of the Assistant Director, Executive Directorate Support Office, and assist to perform the following tasks:
- Policy analysis
- To perform research and analysis on matters relating to the structure, activities, internal and external events, and development of organizational issues in support of INTERPOL’s mission, operational activities and/or senior managerial decision-making processes;
- To support the Policy Advisory Team of the Support Office in providing extensive, cogent, complete and timely support for the EDRM, the Directors and the Support Office Assistant Director. This includes but is not limited to, the preparation of speeches, briefing materials, supplemental research, threat assessments and position papers.
- Executive administrative support
- To support the preparation, drafting, revision and administration of the documentation needed for the daily work of the Executive Directorate Resource Management;
- To assist in the organization of events and visits linked to the work of the Executive Directorate;
- To collate, process, store data related to the work of the Executive Directorate;
- To perform quality checks and ensure that information is constantly up to date;
- To ensure that incoming requests/emails in the generic mailbox are managed through an efficient filing system.
- Support the work of the Support Office
- Participate in internal meetings, and take minutes and/or record of recommendations, when required;
- Assist the team in their daily work as the need arises in order to get exposure to all aspects of the work of the Executive Directorate;
- Perform other duties as required.

- Further knowledge on business administration, resource management and executive support;
- Experience of drafting a variety of documents for an internal or external audience, often on technical subjects, including speeches, position papers and reports.
